A charitable institution, est. 1954
Some work must outlast its workers.
For seventy-two years this house has fed, taught and accompanied, through every government, every crisis, every fashion in generosity. We plan in decades, spend in receipts, and report every year.
- 72
- years of service

The works of the house
Programmes, measured yearly
Solidarity grocery & food parcels
A weekly grocery where people pay 10% of the shelf price, and emergency parcels for the weeks when even that is too much.
Night outreach rounds
Three evenings a week, a van, hot coffee and first names, we go to the people who no longer come to anyone.
After-school tutoring
One volunteer, one child, twice a week, homework done, confidence rebuilt.
Back-to-work coaching
CV workshops, mock interviews and a jacket that fits, the last mile between wanting a job and signing one.
Clothing & essentials drives
We collect, sort and redistribute clothes, bedding and hygiene kits all year round.
Digital help desk
Benefits, paperwork and appointments have all moved online, we sit next to people until it is done.
The accounts, in full
Where the money goes
A house that asks for legacies owes its donors the ledger, not just the promise. These figures are audited yearly.
- 84%
- of every euro goes straight to our social missions
- 9%
- keeps the lights on: rent, insurance, the van
- 7%
- is spent raising the rest, every campaign must earn its keep
Giving, three ways
Give for this year, or for the next seventy
A donation feeds the year's work; a monthly pledge lets us plan; a bequest builds the endowment that keeps the house standing when everyone here is gone. All three are tax-deductible at 66% (75% up to €1,000 a year when the gift funds food, care or shelter for people in difficulty), and all three are audited.
- The annual gift
- Funds the groceries, the tutoring, the outreach of the current year.
- The monthly pledge
- Predictable income, the difference between reacting and planning.
- Bequests & corporate patronage
- Received by appointment, with your notary or your board. Discretion is the house style.
